Alpha Flight! Puck was awesome. A guy being a dwarf due to a cursed sword being embedded in his soul.

Never did find out what happened after Sasquatch ended up in Snowbird's body though...

Alpha Flight, that was it, thanks :D

I think I got to just about the end of the original Secret Wars with the Beyonder (Screw Onslaught etc, even Galactus would have been looking for another bar with this guy around). Awesome stuff :D

I remember Sasquatch and Snowbird being merged, I think they pretty much split Alpha at that point, Wolvie had already left to join XMen iirc, and, since he was the main hook for the comics in the US, Alpha squad sort of faded, only to make a limited comeback in the Animated Xmen series.

Wolverine was never really a member of Alpha Flight, he just had a cameo for two or three issues when the Japanese tried reclaiming his adamantine.

Heh, well, I was about 11 at the time, so my memory is pretty murky ;) I seem to recall he was with them for longer than that, but, now I think about it,  most of my memories of Alphaflight were of Puck, Sasquatch and Snowbird and. I think, Shamen.

I reread most of the early stuff recently. The ones I read were actually all older than me, most being printed in about '85-'86, whereas I was born in '87.

You, sir, are clearly not familiar with the greatest story ever told in comic book history: The orgasmic orgy of violence, bloodshed, and shifting factions that was Maximum Carnage.
