HDR is not enabled in those shots. Right now it's only supported on the Geforce 6 and 7 cards and you have to enable it through a console command. Here are some pictures of the game with HDR enabled.




Note that I have toned down the effect
significantly using the console controls so it looks fairly realistic. The HDR screenshots you will see around the internet use the default settings and are much more pronounced, but look goofy ingame.
When HDR is on, I have to run the game in 1024x768 and turn down a few details to keep it above 60fps at all times, although it's well worth the tradeoff. Also, HDR does not work at all with any AA due to hardware limitations with the way it currently operates.
These don't look quite as nice as they actually do here though because of the monitor's superbright mode. Maybe I can take photos of the monitor itself.

FarCry's HDR is sort of experimental and can occasionally look screwy, although for the most part it's quite amazing. Unfortunately I don't have any savegames in the graphically good spots in SCCT, which has is the only game with fully working HDR rendering.
