I thought that was the terran freighter that was used to tow the Taranus back to Tombaugh Station.

It might be an Amazon Advanced, or the Vasudan freighter from A Small Deadly Space.

The amazon advanced is a reskin of the old Terran Freighter, the name of which I can't remember dammit...

That was a GTFr Chronos, also destroyed by Shivan fighters during the evacuation of Vasudan refugees after V Prime got toasted.  

I only ever remember taking down a Bast in the FS1 demo. Mmmm, my first taste of Hornets! Yes, that's right. And my trusty ML-16 by my side, too. And no shields. *sigh* Those were the ... 'good' ole days.
