A reskined Star Destroyer as a Vasudan capital ship? :wtf:
Whoever did this was creative, but I am afraid I do not like it.

So true. You have to realise how advanced Dark was for his time - he made the first FS mod ever, and was always pushing the envelope. Wonder what he's up to now.

In response to the first post: Inq did *tons* of R128 work, but he didn't officially start the site :) I can't remember the name of the guy who did though at the moment.

Anyways as a response to the comments on Twilight and The Babel Effect:
After Twilight was released I got E-Mails about crash bugs, etc. So it was pulled. After trying to figure out the cause and never being able to reproduce it, I decided to do some tweaks to the campaign including new command briefing animations. I talked to Setekh about that but with the things going on in his personal life at the time it was better to drop the idea.

The Babel Effect I was working on, which was going to be the sequel to Twilight and would conclude the plot. There were quite a few problems with getting its various mods to work and converted. (including my first and last modeling efforts)

Most TBE work I wound up loosing after a crash. That included the Vasudan drydock and the Babel Device which I both modeled. Both the original truespace models and the converted files were lost. My uploaded versions were also corrupt :ick:

Twilight I started working on after Crytek dropped the spacesim project they were working on (a long story). If it wasn't for that I probably would have released an FS2 campaign right after FS2 came out, or continued tweaking Cardinal Spear. (which will soon be re-released for FS1/2 as The Vega Engagement)

After TBE dried up, I worked with Orbital Design Studios on business development since D4 was dead thanks to Volition (another long story). I've now been helping IceFire finish up BWO, and I've been finishing the revamped version of Cardinal Spear since Goober asked to convert it over.

Mainly I've been working on other projects, including the cellphone game Rimscape which I've shown some shots of here before.

TBE will never be released, it's a dead project. A re-release of Twilight? Depends. In a few months I might see if some new command animations can be made.

About Dark:
A *very* skilled modeler with a good artistic eye.

If anything, I regret asking him to do stupid stuff like a reskinned Athena, reskinned Anubis, the PVI Karnak, etc. when I should have been doing the missions for *his* campaign instead when I had the chance...

*sigh*
