God Mode: Fragging For King, Country, and Creator
Very interesting article. It never occurred to me to think of videogaming as a ministry opportunity, but apparently there are organizations doing just that.
Well, gaming like every other entertainment/artistic activity can serve to spread a message, a thought, an emotion, whatever it's designer feels like it, so it isn't a surprise that religious contents may start to appear.
Although, there is one thing that is mentioned in the article that I don't understand. Why are fictional graphical and/or sound displays of violence for the purpose of entertainment so frowned upon? Isn't that on the same level as say... paintball?
Anyway, glad to see some calm opinions regarding video games, especially from religious organizations.
