Today is a huge day for us here at Ctrl+Alt+Del. Last night at midnight, the pilot episode for the Ctrl+Alt+Del Animated Series launched to rave reviews from subscribers. We're really happy how everything came together for this first episode, and judging by the feedback we've been getting, everyone loves it!
My opinion on various segments:
Re-hashed crap story we've seen one thousand times, or managed to invent ourselves in our heads.
Animation is of good quality, it merged with his art so that's a plus, though it's nothing revolutionary and it acts weird when fullscreened (not a codec/encoding issue, seems to be the actual art going through animation not being fit for stretching).
The dub works in some areas, not in others... sounds way too rehearsed/being read off a paper when they get into monologues, though the voices do... work. They could be worse I guess.
All in all... average. I can appreciate the work that went into it, but it's doubtful werther or not it was worth the effort. I guess if you "love" the characters, as in, you want to "sleep" with them, "copulation", and are a fan, you'll adore this.
Not worth paying for it though as far as I go. If he manages a good story (doubtful considering his continuity stories are pure garbage) or pulls off something original for a change, then I may change my opinion... slightly. I guess we'll see.
