Firefox 2-A: Bon Echo
Have any of (the fairly numerous) Firefox folks on HLP tried this yet? Looks good, but seems just about the same as 1.5.

Get it here but remember, it's an ALPHA, and therefore you should only get it if you can handle a few bugs. It's for "testing purposes only."

Did they fix that stupid bug where it occasionally decides to delete all your bookmarks when you close it?

That bug doesn't exist in all the years I've used it.

Re: Firefox 2-A: Bon Echo
It just occurred for me a few days ago. I have started using an FF plugin called Bookmark Backup (it has happened to me far too many times in the past) that does what the name says, so it didn't cause too many problems this time.

Quoted for truth. I started using the same thing when FF lost my bookmarks a few times. I can't believe that functionality isn't built-in, what with FF claiming to be the best and all.

It is in Bon Echo and Minefield. I have a bunch of them building up in the profile folder.

I have not ever had my bookmarks deleted in all the years I've been using it as well, that's a new critisism on me. =/

What extensions do you people have?

Re: Firefox 2-A: Bon Echo
Nightly Tester Tools, Tab No X, and XHTML Ruby Support. I used Tabbrowser Preferences when I used normal versions, but it's useless on the 2.0a and 3.0a builds.

Re: Firefox 2-A: Bon Echo
Using a weekold 'Minefield' build.  (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060504 Minefield/3.0a1)

The only extensions I've got are the DOM Inspector and FlashGot.

Image Zoom, FoxyTunes, ChatZilla, Fire FTP, Web Developer, Google Preview, StumbeUpon, HTML Validator, Sage, Add N Edit Cookies, Fasterfox, IE View, GMail Manager.

Sheesh I have a lot, and I can't do without any of them. .. Except maybe Sage and FireFTP, I don't use those two often enough.
