i downloaded the 3cds of the original retail version of fs2 and i just found out fsopen and i want it. is it possible to download a patch of it instead of the full modded game?
The only forgiveness is between them and God, it is up to me to arrange for that meeting.

Yes there is.
Plz visit the fsu @ http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/board,120.0.html.
That's where you download the additions for the fso.
Then make sure to also visit the fso build forum @ http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/board,97.0.html
All other help usually will be found in those forums.

My FAQ has a guide on how to stick that all together and make it work which you really should read if you're going to upgrade retail into FSO.
