IMO, the artemis fills the role of light bomber nicely. It succeeds the Zeus in every way. A wing of bombers can rip a convoy , cruiser or corvette to shreds. (Given they have maxims + cyclops, but with maxims, they'd be totally defenseless against shielded fighters).

The stats mean nothing. You change them and it would have no effect on gameplay.

Not neccessarily true, I kill stuff with just plain maxims, AI can do it too. in example the ultimate AI uses ursa with tornados maxim and morning star, they are really difficult targets then.

That morning star....so difficult to use, even more difficult to fight against, once someone has you in their sights. Thats when you truly need to rely on a squadmate.

Also anyone notice that artemis bombers max speed doesnt increase at higher ETS settings like it does on all other ships?  only thing that happens is increased burner recharge times
