What ever happened to the flash edition of HLP? I remember a link to it on the main page a while back (way back.)

Ah, well it was a bit dodgy, so we dumped it. Simple.

Besides, Flash for a site of this size is just... well, too hard. Too many updates, too much stuff, not static enough. Wouldn't benefit from Flash that much anyway.

That's why you serve your content out of a database with templated Flash. No need to update the flash, just the content in the DB.

I think you would; it provides a smoother interface. Perhaps just even creating the buttons in Flash would be cool.

Well I'm out here...

Hell, I just got an idea you could use   xml, but still it seems half the staff are occupied with other work, and the other would probably end up having to learn it...but

You know, if you're not using it, you shouldn't leave it on the server right here.
Too bad, liked that version

I actually toyed with that for a while but we kept on running into problems. Lots, and lots of problems.

Why did we leave it up? Wasn't doing any harm...
