Ya, well... TigerDirect had a sale.  1GB micro SD + adapter for like $8.97 US.  They work nice in my current MP3 player (micro SD), as well as being compatible with my camera, which is SD (but unfortunately, broken  ).

TigerDirect rocks. I'm going to buy an eight gig flash drive off there. That way I can tote FS around everywhere. :D Even with shipping and tax it is the same price a a four gig drive from Future Shop. If you're buying an MP3 I'd look there first.

After my ipod nano refused to accept 3rd party firmware, linux, i think it was and got all messed up, ive been using my cellphone. Its the new HTC Mogul from Sprint. I bought a 4gb microSD card for it, loaded all my songs on it, and use the miniusb headphones that came with it. Sound quality is great, i just havent tested the battery life running the media player exclusively yet.

For all your people who use itunes to buy music but hate the DRM bull****, get QTFairUse 6 and dbpoweramp Music Converter with .mp3 plugin to put your music on devices other than ipods. Id link the names to the software, but im too lazy and if you actually care you can google it yourself.

  • A one hit wonder, you still want to touch this.
Hmmm, yes very good idea. That seems to satisfy many necessities for the mp3 player that was asked to be recommended.

A cell phone mp3 player. Cell phone batteries are easily rechargeable, and replaceable, you can buy them everywhere, or at least from cell phone shops which there's a lot of anyway. Cell phones these days do come with expansion slots for flash memory as well. Idk about battery life on cell phones, but i would guess that it'd be similar or better than an ipods continuous play life time of about 14 hours. And has usb, and the rest of works, maybe radio too?
Every pilot's goal is to rise up in the ranks and go beyond their purpose to a place of command on a very big ship. Like the colossus; to baseball bat everyone.
