Again, bandwidth. The less we download, the more bandwidth there is to introduce new people, who don't have the CDs to FS.

EDIT: And the less that Hunter has to pay.

still, are the .mve movies still supported? i thought they changed that?

Avi support was removed and with good reason (It broke all the time). .mve is still supported. So if you have them why should you waste time downloading them?

i thought demo versions can be patched to full version?? i patched many other demo softwares.......

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he could just burn his FreeSpace2 directory + all subdirectories directly to a DVD, copy them to his other computer, delete launcher6.ini, and be good to go, right?
