:necro:

What's up with Inferno? I would have voted for it if the description didn't completely miss the point.

You realize, TrashMan, that if you hadn't released all your models beforehand, it would probably be a lot more popular. But I'm not complaining. ;)

Why not have both...??? ;)

I have the same discussion at work with the IT guys. Once you've gone through the hassle of the job, why not promote it accordingly?

The problem with HL is that it is designed for the IT hardcore fans. Newbies have a hard time to start off so:

a. Design a better homepage; straightforward, which then attract new visitors who in turn slowly become fans, and the ripple will grow...
b. It would save all you a lot of time answering the same queries all over again in the forums and use to what you do best; come out with great campaigns... :)

I am no programmer but I am ready to submit some ideas if anyone is interested; eg draft a word doc with a list suggestions etc... but I don't know to whom I should send them.

You are all forgetting Blue Planet.  It is a must-have in my book.

Why isn't Transcend up there with Sync?
Interestingly enough, this signature is none of the following:
A witty remark on whatever sad state of affairs the world may or may not be in
A series of localized forum in-jokes
A clever and self-referential comment on the nature of signatures themselves.

Hobo Queens are Crowned, but Hobo Kings are Found.

I have a better question: why does it credit :v: for Inferno?

It's completely missing the point, Inferno has nothing to do with the NTF and it doesn't have a scary ending.

(I believe the original was "Ancients, EA and GTVA happy together, cruising into the vast expanse of a universe in which there were no others to challenge them.... Dododoodoooooooo... Okay, maybe not, but I bet something like that would have been the ending eventually)
