Actually I believe I read somewhere's where the Kraken's and Midway's big gun was called that. CIC referres to it as "Ship Killer Plasma Gun" so I'm guessing it's from the defunct website. 

The first paragraph is accurate.  I personally believe the plasma cannon the talla and the murphy/hades/plunkett carried where of a different nature (probably stolen from neph technology).

The "Shipkiller" is a complete different weapon of its own.
The Tallahassee and Murphy class plasmaguns are basicly the same. I am not sure how comperable they are to what we see on the Hades and Plunkett class ships. I think they where more or less smaller version or very modern versions of the plasma guns since the Tallahassees and Murphys needed a lot of space so they where build into the hull instead of being mounted in a turret.

What they are definitly not is beeing stolen from the Nephilim, except for the Shipkiller. The Tallahassee-class was build long before we even know the Nephilim.

I was thinking that the pre-WCP used brute force to mash down the shields while the newer version is phased, like the Devestator's cannon.  Speaking of which... i really need to finish that one up too LOL

True brute force was used before the invention of torpedos that could penetrate shields. That was about WC1. Till then it was a race between shieldtech and weapontech. WC1 you could down shields with your bordguns, WC2 had phaseshields that where not effected by fighterweapons. WC3+4 again you could do damage to shield and ships with your guns. WCP has again shields that couldn't be penetrated except by the Devestators gun, while no explanetion is given for why that is so. Ok there is a gameplay reason but no in-universe reason that I know if.

Nicely done Scooby!  Whats the story with this ship...is it a retrofit of an old Waterloo or a reimagining?  Definitely maintains some of the same lines as the old one but with a more WC3/4ish look to it.  Always liked the Waterloo and was kind of disappointed that it didn't show up much in WC2.

Ok question, I want to release a small how-to demo on firing the big gun. 

There's two turrets on the same spot:

One is a beam cannon with: 0 width, 0 damage, warmup 10000 (10sec), a large radius and no beam fire sound  [turret29]
Second one is the real GG: 10 fire wait, 400000 damage,  blob gun [turret30]

Upon firing:
When True-> Turret Free turret29, Fire-Beam turret29 on target
chained delay [9 seconds] Turret Free turret30

Whats the command to fire a specific turret (non-beam) at a target?  Sometimes it'll fire the bolt right away and others it'lll wait forever.

Fire-turret and Fire-beam. Although really you should set the real gun to fire after the others warmup if i'm following you're set-up
