An Iceni and an Aeolus. Nice work on the ship, BTW.

EDIT: @Titan: Imagine the Iceni head-on with an Aeolus. Iceni ~ 900 metres, Aeolus ~ 300 metres. Combined ~ 1,2 kilometres.

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....
Well, actually, the Iceni is 998 meters, which gets rounded up to 1 km.

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....
I know, but it's only approximately. The Waterloo isn't exactly 1200,00 metres long, is it?

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....
the original waterloo was a mere 503.9meters long.  Not sure how you could get two fighter bays one something that size. Consider this the big brother  :D

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....
Hmm... Isn't it a bit small for having two fighterbays? I mean, the Orion has one, and it's much bigger.

But everything depends on your universe, of course. If your fighters are bigger then the FS2 ones, I would scale this up even further. If they're smaller, no problem.

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....

With a Black widow and it's not a small fighter either. (unless i seriously messed something up)

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....
No idea... it's a cruiser not a carrier.  It'd probably carry more defensive oriented fighters.

Awesome!! :eek2:

That's super cool, is it similar to a hecate. And 1.2km isn't like a cruiser, it's more a destroyer.

Did you build in a plasmagun or even the PTC?
Also at this size its realy massive compared to the original this is build from.
It would look nice beside the "Light of Murada". Did I send you the model?

The model looks interesting and I like the details you put on the front part.

Phase Transint Cannon or more correctly called Graviton Gun.  The PTC was originally stolen from the Kilrathi Sivar, mid-Terran/Kiralthi war.  The original Confederation classes carried this devastating weapon.  One shot could take out a cruiser, however, due to difficulties at the time, the PTC proved to be almost as deadly to the ship carrying it as to it's target.  After several ships were destroyed firing it, it was taken out of service.

During recent technology gains, mostly due to the development of an improved fleet plasma cannon, the PTC was brought back to life.  Massive improvements on containment and firing mechanisms made the PTC truly useable.

Although slightly different than the original PTC, the bolt is basically a mini-black hole that passes through the target's shields effortlessly and starts to consume the hull wherever it goes, radiating massive amounts of energy back unto the hull.  Once the bolt collapses, it releases all the matter it has consumed into a massive explosion.  Only the biggest ships can withstand a hit from it and unlike the plasma fleet cannon, there is currently no way of intercepting it once fired.

Re: Waterloo, from a year ago or so....
There are some notes in some WC production reports that mention fleet plasma cannons. The Tallahassee and the Murphy class should have been equiped with one but we never saw them firing ingame.
Parts of Scoobys discription is from these notes. Parts are made up...that is if I remember it correctly.
