They work fine. Both of them.

If you have widescreen monitor, the log-on screen's positioning might be a bit off center though.
There are three things that last forever: Abort, Retry, Fail - and the greatest of these is Fail.

 
Mine causes problems. The Logon screen works fine but if I install the bootup screen my computer can't boot windows.

Nothing I couldn't fix by going into safe mode and resetting the bootscreen using the program, though.
Fun while it lasted.

Then bitter.

By the way if you have Stop and Bank Gothic Medium BT fonts installed, you can edit the fonts used by the login screen to use FreeSpace fonts. This is what mine looks at the moment:



I also edited the background image positioning to be more centered.

If you're running Vista, and don't want to install Stardock's software, you can modify the Windows system file containing the background image.

You'd have to change all the buttons separately, though.

A little late now, but yes this has been discussed before, but I must admit I haven't tried it with Vista yet!
