Srsly guys? I've always just remembered how old I am. The number only changes once per year. Do you guys have to stop and calculate what year it is?

No, but you have to think about the year every time you erite the date, or see it mentioned somewhere, which is all the time. Whereas how often do you really need to write your age anywhere? Practically never, at least not once you're old enough to get booze legally and past the irthday stage. So you almost never get reminded of it, and since, as you say, it only changes oncen a year, you get into inertia about it.

same here. I just don' t think about it that much.  Sometimes I still think I'm 18 and when I remember I'm 20 I can't believe it's really been that long.

I do my age through calculation. I really don't feel any different nor look that much older since i was 18. Plus the fact that people mistake me for 18/19 all the time (i'll be 25 soon).

People in their 20's may need to utilize calculation if they have youth on their side.

People routinely think I'm in my mid-20s.  I'm 17.  It get's fairly irritating when three dozen people ask you every year why you aren't graduating/ed.

I'm 27, the novelty of birthdays wore off by the time i started buying my own things (high priced goods like tv's consoles and music systems) age 16-17. That was a decade ago so i don't really worry about it now, although the gap between me and 21 year old women keeps growing.......................

Just think though...that eventually you can pick up women half your age at the bar and get them drunk without getting in trouble for it (unless they are already married....have boyfriend....that would want to have a piece of you after finding out). In a couple months ill be 27....I voted by memory too...and the thought of going out with a woman where my age is half again theirs just dont seem right.
