I assume under 14 it works the other way around with that formula applied to your age gives you your maximum threshold while the inverse function gives you your minimum.

At 10, your dating slot is from (10/2)+7 = 12 to (10-7)*2 = 6

there are plenty of trails man - this is texas.  some of the off-road ATV parks we go to are 3500 acres (over 5 square miles), and there are plenty of flat 'straight aways'.

Still, i would never do 75, but it's good knowing the ATV can.  The fastest i'd go on the straights is maybe 45.

It's like saying "my car can do 180mph".  Have i ever driven it 180?  No. will i ever?  probably not. but it shows just how powerful it is

I've taken a jetski to 55mph, which was quite cool...thing wouldn't go any faster,
but thats about as fast as one should ever go riding on almost anything.

There's no way I'd be going faster than 50km/h on an ATV, especially since you have 30cm of crumple zone + a free catapult if you run into something less than 75cm high...

oh there's no way i'd ever take it to its top speed either.  all you need is a ball joint or tie rod to go, and like you said, you're catapulting forward at 75mph.  not fun!.  i know too many people that have died like that :/
