I seriously had to view the video several times until I started believing my eyes.

Is there water on top of the ice? Or is the ice layer only something like 1 mm thick, which usually means extremely slippery conditions, that we call here as black ice?

But still, this video raises questions that baffle mind. I mean how did they manage to do that?

Surprisingly we cant, just not used to it. Like playing bumper cars at the moment. 

Trick of it is to down shift instead of brake.  Even anti lock breaks will slide but dropping down through the gears will decelerate in a controlled fashion.  Course that works for manual transmissions, not automatics, which I suppose is divine justice yah' automotive heathens.    Bonus points if you have 4wd and standard.

Today I felt adventurous and quite stupid, so I walked out onto a frozen lake and fell on my ass for a bit.  Thankfully the ice turned out to be quite thick, and I managed to succeed in not dying hilariously.

Why not practice ice skating (The dutch national sport) while you are at it? It's slightly easier on 'natural' ice since it is more rigid then 'unnatural' ice.
