I have heard of similar stuff happening in 1970s USAF, but there's no video evidence.
Relaxed movement is always more effective than forced movement.

Unrelated. One of the few kids cartoons that depict actual guns and bullets. I found this to be pleasantly surprising especially given that it's disney. The gorilla holding the revolver is awesome :)
