The AI does some pretty funny things/moves if you're attached to it by the dock via FRED and giving AI(s) the order to attack you.

The support ship has always reminded me of certain habits critters have for reproduction, take oversize quadrupeds for example.

Perhaps it has something for Battuta :D

This situation actually occurs in multiplayer every now and then (or at least it did a few years ago). The support ship may get stuck and stop responding to commands in packet loss situations. You can't shake it off and have to just self-destruct. :D

Though it may be old and slow, the Centaur will have you running around in circles...

Actually I get "annoyed" with the Centaur, it always ends up flying 4km away from the battle and it  is faster to make it warp out and then warp back in...

ive seen this happen as well, its usually because you put the dock points too close together (sometimes this kinda thing results in surprise butseks). id assume some kind of floating ball (err point) error. also stop teasing the support ship, its a horney bastard with an unnecessarily large docking probe that grows erect every time it sees a pair of engine nozzles.
