Might be safer if you drained the egg, ala cascarones, so that they don't risk salmonella poisoning.

Hmm, you could always boil the egg first.

@Battuta: Yeah I was going to do that, but then IIRC I stopped posting for a while, so I guess I forgot.

I would imagine a chocolate coated egg would feel noticeably different from the more tasty but egg-less version.

Or unwrap the foil from a Cadbury's Creme Egg very carefully and then use that foil to wrap the egg, (although a Cadbury's Creme Egg has markings on the chocolate and says Cadbury's on the side so they may notice that).

Post these in the #hard-light IRC channel. That kind of atmosphere is much more conducive to posting random things that might not merit their own thread but are still pretty dang interesting.
