  • A one hit wonder, you still want to touch this.
I did a lot of detective work and just could not find evidence if i brought bed bugs with me what so ever. I still have things crawling on me at night, and also the day in my clothes. The bites are not bed bug bites, lice bites, mite bites, etc. just fleas.

Luckily ivermectin works on them too, i will continue my nightly dosing of horse ivermectin. So, today i bought insect growth regulators products with the regulator being nylar which should do the job, and also anti tick and flea dog shampoo. Some foggers with insecticide and nylar, essentially the same thing i also got not in fogger form (they're not contact kill only thankfully), and carpet powder.

I will start tomorrow with doing some laundry of the clothes i have been wearing this past week. Luckily, i am chill with these bastards crawling all up and down me biting me all day long. They like me so much, they stay on me, i can contain the curse on me at least. The car is free thank god.

I will read instructions carefully on the shampoo tomorrow morning very carefully. I don't even know the scheduling for that stuff is yet.

IDK why bugs like me. They don't go for other people, i don't smell, i clean my clothes when the dirty clothes gets full and keep my clean stuff in logical areas like dressers and containers, and i shower just about everyday. I do have high testosterone and my piss scares off wolves, coyotes, and dogs (my aunt who loves animals and has a ranch regularly requisitioned me, even friends in alaska liked me pissing outside on their property). Hormonal thing for bug attraction?

plain old bad as **** luck.

we had a run-in with them last year and solved it by spraying everything everywhere in that room and i mean EVERY nook and cranny everywhere with biokill (permethrin based, according to the bottle i got laying around, works wonders against ants and pretty much everything outside cockroaches :D).

we even found what likely brought them in, a dead pigeon chick behind a couch somewhere.

wait, so, fleas? do you have a dog or cat? because that should be youre focal point. fleas only attack humans incidentally, we are just a lite snack, they need dog or cat blood to reproduce IIRC.

in our case, we thought it was the cat as well, but the cat was completely flea free, since we do the "anti-flea necklace / frontline applied every 6 months" dance...

Fleas can survive with humans only. I had them last year, I thought it was bedbugs too at first, but luckily an exterminator I brought in early found out it was fleas and they were killed easily.

kinky.
It's good stuff, been pissing on people's property for years. I should start a bottling plant or something.

Preparing to do laundry and spraying after i figure out the doggie shampoo dilution. My plan is going to be the same as yours.

I brought them in from my friends place in tennessee. Too many animals, clutter, and the place is not clean.
Fleas can survive with humans only.
I've found this to be true as well. Fleas only seem interesting on crawling all over me if i meet a specific condition, make it seem like i'm covered in fur. This is as easy as wearing clothes and hopping in bed.

To be honest, I suspect they are being attracted by your body heat, which suggests a nice supply of food. The fact you are wearing clothes probably also provides them with somewhere to lay eggs.

Last time we had a problem, we used stuff called Nuvan Staykill, which worked a charm, it'll not only kill the fleas but prevent the eggs from hatching as well.

Did a little research on what I had half remembered, apparently, some fleas can thrive on humans indefinitely, while others (most common fleas) cannot complete their life cycles easily on humans. so they can survive For a while but their populations will slowly die off unless a fury animal shows up. something about them needing 12 uninterrupted hours of feeding to lay eggs and humans are not a stable enough environment for that. And we also lack the right sort of hair that they like to lay eggs in.

They are attracted to my body heat and my carbon dioxide indeed. Which sucks since I like to sleep mummified (which barely keeps them away). With ear plugs; they know when i'm sleeping on my side to go for my ear canals for the olympics (thank god for ear plugs). They go for me immediately when I get in bed. They mainly stick to the three sheets, blanket, and outside of pillow cases from what i've noticed. Alas, this house also has no carpeting whasoever.

I don't know if these ****ers are or able to lay eggs since I sleep next to naked and shower, or at least spray myself off in the shower thoroughly every morning. I'm not wearing clothes to bed. I've been somewhat careful about what I wear every day. I find that putting on my insulated hoodie for the day that I keep far from the bed is possibly what they like. Then I remembered how great little jumpers they are. I'm using sentry homeguard household spray, it's basicly the same stuff as the nuvan staykill based on ingredients. They both kill fleas, but don't stop eggs from hatching, just makes sure that hatchlings are unable to molt.

So, washing bedding now, sprayed down the room with lots of killer, and also did a fogger to be more thorough and over kill. I will also dip myself tonight. Still going to take ivermectin, and that's really all I can do. Maybe I got all of this in one shot, or it will take a few more times. Since there is no animal around. Like Bobboau says...

These bastards are pretty darn isolated as it is. If any did somehow lay eggs, they laid  them in my "nest", maybe my hoodie too, but, those would have to be larva and they're not in this case. Clothes are being washed too. God forbid i somehow eat one of the ****ers when asleep. I don't want the possibility of worms either.

EDIT:on the possibility that my mouth flies open one night. I forgot I am already on dewormers ;7

Are they feeding on rodents? Idk how secure your house is, maybe they tunneled in from outside and are enjoying the heat.

Really they just feed on me; no one else uses that bedroom. There's no rodents here that i know of yet, there is also no history either. I don't think i'll have to whip out a mouse trap with a corn chip (best mouse bait ever!!!)  superglued to it.

So far I have been spraying insecticide with growth regulation on everything, fogging, cycling out what i sleep with every day (before a trip to the washer, that stuff gets sprinkled with insecticide with growth regulation carpet powder hours before i get a chance to throw that **** in the wash), a fresh pair of clothes, and no tick/flea doggie shampoo showers every morning (can't forget ivermectin every night). The ****ers seem to be decreasing, and have become noticeably less energetic as of last night.

It has occured to me that these also might be mites. Which, i really don't think so. I can hear them clicking and popping with their jumping legs really hard every night (which eventually does get them underneath my sheets after they tried so long and hard, flat bugs doing horizontal jumping to fit between long tight fits, yayayay:( ).

how big are these ****ers? because for us, the fleas werent audible and were barely visible as little black jumping dots. (we caught them before they spread to the bed, so it was only our legs that were doomed and itchy)

Probably about as big as you say. I haven't been able to see **** even with leaving a lamp on all night; i was only able to identify through the bites and their behavior in my bed. I can only hear them if they're really close to my ear on the pillow while one or two are furiously using there jumping to get between the sheets and my sleeping tight setup. I can hear and feel them walking in my ear canal before i got ear plugs. I was not one of those people who destroyed my hearing when i was growing up.

I think i've wiped out the oldest adults, or they're getting sick, they sure were moving a lot slower and fewer on me last night.

Edit: specifically, read the part about the flea traps you can build with a light, a plate, some water, and soap (iirc).

I  tried the trap long ago. It didn't catch anything in the dark room for 8 hours. Currently exploring flea powder cats for myself.

So far using the shampoo every morning as a body wash appears to be not life threatening whatsoever.

EDIT: Hartz cat flea and tick powder: just a light dusting on the sheet you will be laying down on including the pillow will keep these ****ers off of you and kill them. Two were dumb enough to get on me. I just roll over, and they get dusted and no longer bothered fairly shortly after. I think the end is near.

Among having my hair cut very short 2 months ago. Armpits get shaved too. Part of grooming day. What takes girls so long in the bathroom is the mystery i have figured out. But, it's not something that needs to happen every day.
