Hello!

I'm new here and am looking for help. For the fsport I can play it up to a certain mission. During that mission there is a ship I need to protect however the ship isn't there and it's an automatic fail. It appears the file for the ship is missing from the game and I can't figure out how to fix that. I have the same problem for silent threat as well. Also most of the narration isn't there either.

One thing I have found is that the Stu vp is missing. I can't find a place to download it tho. When I go to

and attempt to download the Stu file it says the file wasn't found on the server. Is there another place to download it? Or another way to fix my issue?

Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.
The thread you linked is for FSPort 3.4, the current version is 3.5 and has its own release thread.

Next time, you might want to post in the Support Forum to get quicker help.

You might also prefer to use the FreeSpace Open Installer.  It will download mods automatically and make sure everything you have is up to date.

So I've downloaded the newer version. It fixed the missing ship issue but there still isn't any dialog.

Since the voices are provided with an installation of FS1, we're working on a way to transfer them from there.  If you have FS1 I can tell you how to copy them over.
