it just sounds ... pathetic? that they call them 'pilots'...
Not sure....I think they peak at 300 kph, but their averages are - IIRC - about 150-180 during a race.
Incidentally, 'pilot' is probably the right name for an F1 driver. Because the cars would actually take off were it not from the downforce off of the wings.
And it's a little unfair to compare Fangio, Prost, Senna etc with Schumacher when they raced in different eras....
