Well heres the problem i got BF1942 patched it to 1.2 etc and i click the icon to start enjoying the game slap it gives me a beep black screen and then back to desktop no error no nothing....



specs Athlon 1600+
GF2 MX400
256 Ram
SB live 5.1
some 40 GB hdd


any ideas?

I don't quite understand exactly what the problem is (I get that you are chucked back to the desktop - but how far into the game do you get exactly?)

Also, the latest BF1942 patch is 1.4, you might want to get it :)

latest drivers for everything usually helps too...

btw this wasnt a pirating fault anyway the game refused to accept 100 HZ display refresh rate so i had to overrade :/ :)

yep some settings file and mark allow all refresh rates from 0 to 1 :)
