You do realise that the moment we perfect nanite technology we are in such deep trouble that it's not even imaginable ;)

Nanite based designer drugs, they work differently depending on what mood you are in. And can make you desperate beyond measure for more.


Nanite chemical weapons, Too unpleasant to even think of.
Nanite 'dermal correction and perfection' techniques :- mutant perfect people alert!

Well, overkill possibly, but you get my meaning ;)

This reminds me of that Outer Limites episode where a dude injects himself with nano thingys and he ends up mutating and the nano things go crazy and mutate the man so that the nano things can't be removed. He ends up turning into a jellyfish and gets his friend to kill him.  Then at the end his girlfriend ends up with some of the nano things and that was it.
