Remember: Samus has survived the destruction of how many planets? Has fought off more more dangerous alines in more giant alien hordes on more worlds than Master Chief ever heard of.

Lets put it this way: Samus' biggest, baddest enemy (the Metroids, in their various forms) would eat anything in Halo for dinner. And Samus whips their asses.

One other thing about our good ole Master Chiif.  He dies when he falls 100 damn feet, wtf?  Samus could jump from a ledge half a mile down and act like she fell 2 feet.  What weapons does MC have that could actually kill samus?  What kind of things does MC fight, the same old grunts/elites over and over again.  He never fights anything challenging...  Samus on the other hand, has to kill metroids that are harder than hell, take on huge badass boss dudes that are like 100x her size.

[color=66ff00]I consider the zelda games to be consistantly excellent and a rewarding experience. The character's guise may not be imposing but he through the hands of the player is as pivotal a character as any other, in fact moreso than most.

Anyhow, I'm going with the book - cover analogy. I read the book and it is good.

Yeah. I read the first three or four books and they were great. Then I tried the next one (Ocarina of Time) and I can't bring myself to read past chapter 3 becuase it bites.

Of course, Windwaker, I'm having trouble bringing myself to read past the third to last chapter. The tail end of this one is way to post-office/fedex/ups whatever you like to call it.

ive played Ocarina all the way through, but one week wasn't enough for Wind Waker.  I liked the whole huge ocean thing, it was cool, but this one looks far cooler.  That, and i love horses, and the horse is cool.
