To sum up:
Derek Smart makes video games. He thinks he's a genius, a few people (frothing at the mouth uberfans) think so too. Most of the rest of the world, not so much. Many of them, not at all.
That's not his real claim to fame however. His real claim is his unerring ability to know whenever someone, anyone makes any comment about him anywhere on the internet. No one knows how he does it, and most don't really want to know. Because he knows everything everyone ever says about him, he suffers from a sever case of overreacting to, well, everything. Call him a genius and he'll come in, screaming about what a genius he is. Call him and asshole, and he'll threaten (though not follow through) to sue you.
In other words, without even counting his threats to this community, he's the world's loudest internet jerk (won't say biggest, because there's got to be someone bigger, we just hear about this guy more). Either you love him, hate him, or don't know he exists. Those in the third catagory are reguarded as lucky by the second.
