Its from the director of 'Dude, where's my car?', how can you expect a witty comedy?

On the other hand, its very funny when you give it a chance.

That depends on your reaction to weed.  Most people believe the steriotype that stoners laugh at everything, but it's very different for different people.  When I smoked, I had to clean up before joining the navy, I got real quiet and wanted to be left alone.  I didn't laugh much at all, and I generally didnt like to be around people.

On topic, the first one had trouble getting people to go watch it because of the other movies that came out at the same time.  Hopefully H&K 2 will have a bit better luck.

Then you were smoking some odd **** or suffer from nasty paranoia. There is a reason that the stoners laugh at everything is a stereotype, it's because it's true and I know enough stoners to verify this as a 100% fact.

Not really, most do - but then if they didn't would they be stoners? Think about it, would you keep taking a drug if you hated the effects the first time and weren't addicted to it?

I doubt it.

So the majority of stoners that you know have a good reaction to weed - unsuprising that they continue to do it and are stoners then. But what of those who tried it - hated it - and never touched it again because of paranoia or something similar? You'd not class them as stoners but they still counter the statistic that 100% of stoners laugh etc.

So.... there :)

But that's the point see, he specifically said stoners, not just "people who have an occasional smoke". That's the point I was making.

A stoner by very definition is someone that smokes a lot of pot not someone that has an occasional puff on a spliff or whatever.

You see? :)
