What reads .mve? I want to watch the FS1 movies, but i´m missing CD 2, so i can´t install. Have to read from the CD.
So, is there a codec to allow me to run them in Win Media Player, or some other standard player? Leave a link, please.
Thank you.
No Freespace 3 ?!? Oh, bugger...

How to play/convert them. There is a dedicated player somewhere but it's hard to find.

Klingon Academy movies are in MVE format, (it was an interplay game also) therefore a search for KA modding and MVE would be best for trying to find the MVE player.

   I had it 4 years ago but my hd crashed and I never installed KA again until early this year. But I used it to access all the movies to missions I never finished (about half of them). I have since finished the game, but still I want to find it myself eventually...

That or get MVE_View. Nobody is supposed to have it - but I do.

I suppose I'm not supposed to mention that.

Want it? PM me.

@Getter Robo G:

The file you linked is the exact same as posted in Karajorma´s page. And after reading the instructions and guidelines posted there, i´ll have to go along MVE.View, since my drives are still in FAT 32. NTFS has always proved to be a headache to my system. I do have the disk space for it, but all i´m interested is just watching it, and not converting and later using them for something. So why waste the space if i can just get a player to run it, right?
Anyway, thanks for your speedy replies. :)

You only need an NTFS drive if you're converting the intro from FS2. All the other files should be small enough to fit on a FAT32 partition.

It may also be possible to simply play the movie using MVE2AVI. IIRC there is a command line option that does that.
