I have a terrain modelling project (I'll post the site link, but don't laugh, it needs re-arranged and made over), and I am using the Descent Engine as a tech demo (possibly moving to a Open SOurce engine for the final deal, it's an academic thing, I will be presenting at a national conference in October).
Basically, I am pulling my hair out with the intricacies of D3Edit and some minor frustrations with table files. The REAL thrust of this is the terrain models, but the final levels need to have a smidgen of polish.
