help with .bin files
Okay, so I have a movie on my computer that is a .bin file and I want to burn it to a CD. I ran a google search for .bin and downloaded Nero and MagicISO because it said either of those programs would help, but I don't really understand what I'm doing. Can somebody please help me out and tell me how I can convert the .bin back into a movie format? thanks!

.bin files are CD 'images', they contain all the data for the CD, so you need to burn that image to a CD Rom, and then the CD Rom will contain the vidoe file. Think of them as a sort of ZIP file, which contain the 'real' files you are looking for, which in this case is a completely legal freeware movie... :nervous:

I always use Alcohol 120's Image Burning wizard, it hasn't let me down yet.

[color=66ff00]You could also use Daemon Tools to mount the image if you don't want to burn it.

To burn, open Nero and select "burn image". Then look for your bin file on your HDD. I´ve never used the .cue files, the bin file is enough. But you better use them just in case, if you are not familiar with this.
You can also use Daemon tools to mount the image and make a "on the fly" burn, just like you would if you were copying one CD to another, although i don´t see why you should.
No Freespace 3 ?!? Oh, bugger...

Look for a program called burnatonce.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.
