I've actually destroyed several copies of Red Storm Rising by repeated reading...I think I'm up to my fourth now.

I kid not. I read the thing so many times pages start to fall out and the binding's destroyed. I've killed a hardback and paperbacks that way.

Dale Brown: :yes: :yes:, though I would agree on some levels about the supertech. But the EB-52, now that's definitely doable...

Ooooh yeah! Me LIKES the Megafortress....

The EB-1C Vampire was quite nice, too.

And the AL-52 Dragon... Maybe the final incarnation isn't possible yet, but it's still a lot of fun to read about.
