I've played multiplayer a few times, and I'll agree that it was a great party game; it's nice to see old classics revived like this.
I'd agree with you there somewhat regarding the Controller. It was a really great design, but that Joystick would just destroy itself in no time! A friend of mine rented Mario Party one weekend long, long ago, and together with several mates, effectively destroyed
all his N64 Controller Joysticks, to a degree that he could no longer play
any game with them...
...On another note; make sure you get Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I find it to be a better rounded entry into the LoZ franchise. While it may not have the overall inovation and sheer scale of Ocarina of Time, MM has a much better story, and looks considerably better than OoT...

exactly as they were, just with awesome new graphics. Seriously, there were some levels (ie. Stack) that you just can't improve upon...indeed, no console FPS has been able to recreate the innovation and fun of GoldenEye (although Halo 2 w/ XboxLive came pretty close)...
