StarCraft at least had cutscenes. I think we should give all kickboxoid games acronyms that spell very rude words, it's more appropriate.

Maybe it's that month-old refrigerator food that's giving me all these strong opinions...

Yeah, I remember the original for this, SoulBlade.  It was a good occupation of a lot of playing hours

Beat 'em ups - ahhh, it's been too long since I've played some of those. Final Fight and Vendetta were the last I remember... and they were on emulators...
- Eddie Kent Woo, Setekh, Steak (of Steaks), AWACS. Seriously, just pick one.
HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS, now V3.0. Bringing Modders Together since January 2001.
THE HARD LIGHT ARRAY. Always makes you say wow.

Tekken 3, Soul Calibur and SF Turbo are the main constituents of my fight game diet.

Soul Calibur just rules. OK

Yeah, when it was invented (back in the days of pig's bladders       ) it was called football, why should we change it for america's convienience?!?

You guys really take the biscuit calling grid-iron 'american football' how often does the ball touch the damn player's foot? Your 250 pound ballerinas in body armor wouldn't last a second playing rugby

England: rugby, football and cricket (for the "boring old people"). And their teams unfortunately suck in all three sports

America: baseball, "football", "hockey" (it's ice-hockey, hockey is something else entirely). And their teams don't have anyone to play against (except ice-hockey, in which we beat the crap out of them  )

Quite frankly, I'd much rater pick England than the US.

I lived there. I was actually on a week-long school trip to the Isle of Man(n) when England lost to Germany in the penalty shoot-out of the finals of the... I think it was the 1996 World Cup (football).

It wasn't pleasant for the next few days. And this was among 10-year-olds

European Championships

Same year they scraped past us at Wembley (Gary bloody MacAllister   ).

That might not have been nice in In-ger-land (they stabbed an Russian thinking he was German! - bunch of idiots), but it was bloody fantastic up in Scotland
