That stuff is from Angels Fall First, a really impressive looking fan-universe thats currently being made into a Total Converseion for Unreal Championship 2005 (for ground combat), Homeworld 2 and Nexus (for Space Combat), and is also having code written for its own game engine.

Re: Truly awesome sci-fi Art.
I'm familiar with their fine work on Nexus and HW2 [although progression is painfully slow on the latter], but I didn't realise they were working on anything for UC2005... *investigates further*

Well, it was either Championship or Tournament, I lose track with the Unreal games. Anyways, here's some of the art they got for it:

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address occurred during the same week.  This is an ironic juxtaposition of events--one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog.

It reminds me a lot of Homeworld.

Erg, that doesn't sound right, but I can't get the grammar to work for me.

That being said, that doesn't mean it doesn't look very, very good.

Re: Truly awesome sci-fi Art.
Yeah, i get depressed seeing this kind of work because I know how much work it is and how impossible it is for this kind of work to get done in a free project. Someone needs to throw them (hey, and us for that matter) a cool couple million to work full time on it and make a really awesome game.

If someone threw me a couple of million, the last thing I'd be doing is working :D
