Yeah. Those democrats. Rigging voting machines so that they lose elections. They're clever bastards, no mistake.

They didn't find the right person to bribe in time. This time. Don't worry, they'll find him in time eventually. :p

You're kidding, right? Most of the country is outraged by voter fraud -- the Republicans accuse the Democrats, and the Democrats accuse the Republicans. Everyone pisses equally at everyone else that their candidate had fraudulent votes aiding their campaign. Most people aren't pissy about it anymore due to the upcoming elections, but they sure will be afterwards

I remember when this was first being talked about, all the way back in 2004......there was no outrage, no demonstrations, no nothing. It only got a vague mention in the media, and after that, total silence. No one talked about it, or else they would be called "sore losers". The bottom line is that this testimony did not even make it to the media, and that says a lot about the "outrage". There is no outrage, most american people don't care about their government anymore.

****ing Americans.

what exactly does that mean?

im not sure, but just in case, **** you
It was exasperation towards a people that have allowed a once-great nation to go completely down the toilet. Blanket statements over an entire people are quite fitting when an entire people are to blame.

Oh, and taking something you find insulting and throwing it right back at me? How very American of you.

yes well then he could say somthin to the effect of '****ing american polititians' but by generalizing it to that he calls out all of us who have nothing to do with the situation and therefore he can suck my left nut
If I meant to say "****ing american politicians", I would have. When I said "****ing Americans, I meant exactly what I said. Remember, the People don't serve Politicians, Politicians serve the People. When a nation goes as far as the US has, only the people are to blame. Exactly who do you think maintains the power of politicians?

I mean, if this were the 60's, there'd be millions marching in the streets every damn week! But alas, the American people have allowed themselves to be cowed into a perpetual state of perpetual fear; afraid to do anything, and convinced they can't do anything. I don't understand how you can just absolve yourself of all responsibility and blame for what has happened these past few years.

In short, you claim to have nothing to do with the "situation", but I say you have everything to do with it.

And, again, if you feel insulted, all you needed to have done is calmly tell me so and I would have apologised. Unfortunately you seem to prefer insulting, knee-jerk reactions that do nothing but enflame the situation. I would like to ask you to kindly refrain from such actions in the future.

Now, now, let's not make snap judgements of his political orientation. Anyway, I don't even see how that enters into the discussion, it's not like a single political group is to blame for this whole snafu.

Indeed, but you seriously think anyone is going to be held accountable?

Touché. Rather sad commentary on the state of society, really.

Re: Programmer Testifies Under Oath of Creating a Vote Fraud Program for Florida
Yeah, because it's not as if we have elections every two years to give the people a chance to remove the politicians. That would just be too easy a solution, you know?

Subject topic?

You can have all the elections you want, if the systems' flawed and the (perceivably electable) candidates are **** it makes not a jot of difference.  Hell, we have the same problem here.
