Wow! I was just talking to my girlfriend the other day about Freespace 2, and I stumbled across this site. I'm not sure if any of you guys remember me, I wasn't always around. I'm JBX-Sparky, back when Squadwars was a good time. DW was always kicking everyone's ass back then, that I remember.

I'm trying to get back into this game... but with out CD 1 it kinda sucks. I'm trying the retail installer as we speak, it's still downloading. My other 2 discs are still fine in the original package. I'll be around, and just wanted to say what's up to anyone who remembers me.

**** the cd's and try the installer when you know what to click yes and no to for the mediavp's and other stuff like the port. Take a look at the screenshots. Vanilla has mostly gone the way of the dohdoh, and i'm pretty sure you'll want the mediavp's, also the installer has an updater. The installer will install the whole entire game with the enhancements and extra campaigns that you wish.
