If the Shivans wanted to wipe out the GTVA they would have done so with the Juggernaut fleet.

the problem is that we wanted to survive more then they wanted to wipe us out, so they didn't.

They could have mowed us down with the Sath fleet. Each one can handle an entire GTVA fleet (about 4 destroyers 12 corvettes and 25 cruisers, I've made a BoE mission for it).

The Sath fleet could have attacked and destroyed every single GTVA-controlled system without loosing too many jugs. If the Sathanes were smarter than Derek and didn't let the GTVA blow up their cannons, then they would have laid waste to all GTVA ships.

But they didn't because they didn't leave Capella! They just stayed there and blew up the star. If they acted like the Lucy, everything would be destroyed. Outright. No contest. Hands down. +1.

But the Terrans and vasudans were powerful, and and when allied they were able to defeat the shivans.
