Sorry about the shouting but I just thought I'd stay in character.
I was invited to a Monty Python themed party so, being mostly broke and having a week of free time I decided I'd make a costume... here's the helmet:
I've written up the entire build process for the helmet which can be found in my deviantart gallery (follow the link in my signature).
And here's a photo from the party... note that my friend actually put his together in two hours which was immensely impressive, it reeked of spray-paint though so I think he wore it for all of ten minutes the whole night. His styrofoam bleeding stump was a great idea. I'll have to make a more complete costume for halloween next year.
