I'm not quite sure if I'm suppose to get this medal this early, but I do recall I get it later on.

With that said, I think I got it the second time after completing the second to the last mission (i.e. "DIVE! DIVE! DIVE! Hit your burners pilot!"). What strikes me is that I don't recieve a notification for the medal in this mission like in the other ones.

(Just want to make sure if this is something I would want to report to Mantis.)

Yeah, it's the crest you get for flying with the SOC. I'm sure they gave it to you as soon as you signed up, and you only just saw it at debrief.

No, you get one Crest for each tour of duty, and the Service Medallion after Into the Lion's Den.
