I'm trying to make the GTSC Hephaestus's turrets (you can see a crappy picture of the original version in the HL forum) and I used glue as child to make the four turrets subobjects. But then COB2POF merged them into one subobject (or I just screwed up)! Can anyone help me?

Did you give them different names (turret01- turret04)?

Glue a light to the turret first?

I tried but I'm not sure how to glue a light! Any tutorials?

You just make a new light, that can't be too hard even though I can't remember how TS1 worked anymore...

Make a new light. The find "Glue as sibling" from somewhere, then click the turret.

Then name the combo Turret01 and so on.

Yeah, well... When I call a turret turret01, TS1 renames it turret,1 (?!?). I haaaaaate TS1 I can do everything, it always put a "," instead of the 0... And it renames my map thruster01.avi in thrust~1.avi      
I'm fed up with this crappy prog... Who the hell decided to use cob files to convert ships into  POF?

Thanks Jabu for the help. And Venom, you can just rename the subobj in FSMM2 or Kazans POFCS.

TrueSpace 1 can't use windows-lenght names? Damn that thing is primitive  

I can't really help. I know near to nothing about TS1, even if I did use it before a few times.

TS1 is a Win 3.11 program. But I think FSMM can also edit texture names.

FSMM2 can't, but POFCS can.
