Hey dude, go check the main page!

Nah, I'm just overworked. And I didn't really sleep last night. And I have to finish correcting some errors before lunch. And I need to try to stay awake...

And what's with the main page?

My family (on my fathers side) seems to be quite adept at criminal activities so I'm guessing I got this particular gift from them.

Considering a text-only version. We'll see what the day brings. :)

How about two versions of HLP? the HLP main page would be a splash page and then there would be a text-only front page or a with image front page.
Relatively simple and effective I think :)
Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman

Given the title of this thread, why not go with the solution I use on 404error.com? Top story only, with text links. After 3min or the user clicks on the 'Enter 404error' page, they go to the full page, with all the links, graphics, etc, etc.

Mind you, I have absolutely no idea why I do this, as 404error only shows the top story inside anyway, and it uses CSS for layout, with only like two pics (background and the title).
[I am not really here. This post is entirely a figment of your imagination.]

That's not a bad idea. I've gotta get talking to the GS tech support guys again; I have some ideas... :)

Hmmmm, I hear that. The security guys at the last place I worked must've thought I was some kinda undercover inspector considering how much attention I gave the security system there.

I've been playing shenmue 2 a lot recently, it's weird when you stop and expect normal RL people to act like they do in the game. That and you have this unnerving want to ask old people in the park if they'll spar with you hoping they're taichi experts

Which magical world do you live in where t can be less than 0 and greater than 5 simultaneously? ;)

In some places, if you give it attention they come up to you and interview you.

Or the world where my Discreet Mathematics professor from college lives... at his class we were able to prove through numeric means that 2 is infinitely greater than 7. Go figure.

You can actually prove such things if you go into an n-dimensional complex number system. :D

Must have been that then. I was half-asleep, and had the prescience that I'd never use it, so I didn't pay any decent attention. :D
