Re: Someone has no taste in musicals
Almost hit one? Ever flown in one?

I've flown in a few different small Cessna and Piper single-engines. Also in a Piper Seneca (III, I think) at least a hundred times. Also various other small aircraft. In addition, a Beechcraft KingAir 200 about a dozen times. My father owned a single-engine and then, after it crashed and insurance money came in, bought the Seneca. The KingAir was his instructor's aircraft, and we flew in that a few times when, for whatever reason, our airplane wasn't ready to go. While we had the single-engine and shortly after, we occasionally rented other small aircraft (again because of maintenance; the airplanes were typically flow once a week).

What the heck does this have to do with anything aside from dick-waving?

We're discussing improvised projectile weapons here. If you want to start a thread to talk about all the private planes your family owns, go ahead and do it.

Oh nothing; I was just trying to annoy General Battuta. Apparently, it worked.

More like 'bemused'.

Let's see... I once made a vinegar based explosive. Filled it, dropped in a healthy dose of baking soda, sealed the bottle, shook it up, and ran away. That was a long time ago.

BOOM! haha

I shot a dog turd out of my pneumatic potato gun one time. From 20 feet away, i didn't enjoy the collateral damage.
It was a dry old turd, and it really chunked apart and flew all directions.
Every pilot's goal is to rise up in the ranks and go beyond their purpose to a place of command on a very big ship. Like the colossus; to baseball bat everyone.

Why in the Seven Hells would you do that?

I was curious. Oh man that dry turd did some covering. It hit the plywood and went all directions.

I came within six inches of hitting a privately owned Cessna with a model rocket.

THEN I FLED
On the ground or AIRBORNE???

You cock.

Do you have any idea how fragile Cessnas are?  :D

Disclaimer: I'm about 10 hours from being a certified general aviation pilot, -> I'm just having a laugh at the many Cessnas I've flown that've been in a state of disrepair, just in case Bob-san misinterprets.

Airborne. It was sort of an accident.

Oh awesome, I was just joking. Your anti-aircraft skills are greater than I imagined. :p

I know full well; the first airplane (a Piper Lance, if I'm not mistaken) was crashed during a downwind. The landing gear collapsed like cardboard boxes and the repair bill was well over 2/3 the value of the airplane. Airplanes are built to survive controlled crashes. Remove control, and the airplane's trashed.
