Ok, these are my first shown models, the SDF Njord and the SDF Tolkien, both of the Sol Dominion fleet...

The Njord is to be an Interceptor, and you can see that it is greatly inspired be Dark's interceptor... although I'm going to change the up "wing", and the cockpit (if anyone has a cool idea for the cockpit, please post here...), to make it more different from Dark's interceptor...

The Tolkien is an Heavy Fighter\Bomber, like the Athena...








Please, I want honest feedback about them

Yeah, you're right... that's why I REALLY want to change a lot of things in the Njord (but not the name )... to make it different...

You could say what you think of the Tolkien though

Tolkien - I hate the name (*grumble* ****ty wizards *grumble*) but it looks pretty funky from the front - a bit like SDF-1. The top view shows it's a bit flat along the sides though.

Also, Tolkien is no Wizard... it's a Norse god of some sort, can't remember where I saw that...

Anyways, I'll work the "flats" out...

Pretty nifty. You might be able to get away with adding a few more details to them though. I'm more impressed by the njord but I would decrease the size of the bottom 'strut'. (can't think of a better name for it )

Tolkien was an englsh teacher who wrote "the lord of the rings"

But maybe that allowed him to become a god

Though the "boot" on the Njord could be a bit shorter, and the Tolkien is a bit too robust to be a fighter.

Njord: I'll change the name... Also, nobody has any cool idea for the design of the cockpit and the up wing??? Also, I prefer the strut was meant to be big, because the Sol Dominion fighters have an essentialy vertical design...

Tolkien: of course it looks too robust, because it is a Heavy(really heavy...) fighter/bomber... but maybe I'll take out the two missile pods in the bottom...

I'll work them out, and post them here...

Ok, the Njord has been taken for redesign, cause I'm not feeling good posting here a shameless rip off Darks design... I may post it here this weeknd... the Tolkien is just having a few "smoothening"...
