Stryke, we understand. It's still tasteless and completely not funny, even if it was meant to implicate Arafat and show the reason why people do it.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".

Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Ah well. I didn't think it was funny either, but it certainly doesn't deserve that sort of reaction, considering how it does anything BUT take it lightly, as far as a game can avoid such.

If it was intended to offend, then of course it was a stupid crack at the world situation today. Somehow it seemed more like a joke to me, though, especially with all those cartoon-like characters. And if that is the case, people once again need to stop being "offended" by half the things they see or they will never get anywhere in real life. :p
