Karl is doing a lot of work on 3d modeling and some other things, the few others are mostly inactive.
Modding released MC2 code was fun only in the beginning. As I went deeper It became a problem because its very old, overcomplicated, unfinished and had a lot of bugs. 90% of the time I put into this game went to tracing and debugging. The engine is directx7, unfinished and also very old.
There is a real life factor too, we have jobs, families.
I already have plans to write new logistics part of the game - a combination of MW2, MC1, MC2 and MW4.
It will definitely not go with this engine.
It would be nice to work in a bigger team. We had an SVN at the beginning, with two programmers who failed to even setup the game to compile... And they disappeared without good byes.
We are talking about the work from the beginning, a huge task. It will need dedicated people or the project will be doomed from the start.
