i dont agree totally with the more tanks wins in ra2, at all

ive won games against really good players where i was attacked with 10 prisms, vs just 3 apocs, but i managed to crush his attack. ok, that sort of thing is possible mostly in a long game, that lasts an hour at least. in another game, which i lost eventually, i killed 5 prism tanks with a lone apoc and boris, defending my base and prolonging the battle a little more

u obviuosly havent ever faced similar problems in starcraft of more the merrier, but i assure u, it is easily accomplished, not on the ground, but in the air. nothing stands up to the protoss anyways, they r just too powerful, scouts n carriers in the air, reavers and dark templars on the ground.

Waiths vs Scouts, Wraith wins if it cloaks, loses if it doesnt, scouts missiles do more damage, but it cant shoot what it cant see...
Carrier vs Battlecruiser, Cruiser wins if it uses the Yamato cannon, hell, I think it even wins without it...
Reavers vs Tanks, about even, reavers lose if the tank is in siege mode...

Like I said, with Terran, you should already have your opponent contained.  3-4 Tanks at max... 12 or so Marines.  You should have your opponent contained with about 12 tanks, 8 goliaths, and 14 marines.... Take dropships and attack his base with your units in them... it works almost everytime, unless you let him escape and get more minerals...

EDIT: lol, if you let your opponent get that much, there is something wrong with your strategy...

I promise i wasn't trying to take charge, i am still well aware, as is everyone, that you are 1st in command!

well Terran are known to have the best defense... they may be slower at building, but their defense is way better than any other species, and if their bunker/siegetank/etc. is damaged, an SCV can repair it in a few seconds!
Protoss i think has the best offense, though some people disagree with me

zerg is the best at rushing, and mass attacks, since their units are cheap and fast...

The winners of the 1v1 get an automatic seat in the 3v3 game, and if there is complications then there will be a sudden death round were all the ccontestants play to the finish, the last 3 ppl who win will be in the 3v3, and the last 3 ppl to be eliminated play the winners.

Now now vader, be nice to the newbie *points to dark_4ce* he's being put up against another newbie who I have fought against and WOOOPED royally, I'm talking about DC, and also there is a no rush in affect for newbies only, remember vader? all other rankings, regular and pro can rush if they want to.

Dark_4ce will do fine, just give him some pointers before the game, and play against him in a game, show him the ropes and tactics and other things like that!

The only way that the terran will win in that situation is if they turtle, and build a billion turrets around.  But, corsairs nullify turrets allowing for a smooth clean drop....

AI.. much harder than your average b.net player....mainly because they cheat..
