I agree. I think canadian bacon is really only great for the fact that it's thinly sliced ham. Great on hawaiin and meat lovers pizza. If you want cheap bacon. Thinly slice up some spam and fry it up nice and crispy. Tastes almost like real bacon. Not quite the same thing, but close enough.
